So I am texting with my bestie stamping girlfriends last night and around 10 pm (my time) we decide to do a challenge among ourselves using a few of Stampin Up products to make a card. We had to use the whale from the Hello Sailor stamp set in the mini catalog as well as the Starburst Framelit and or Sayings. So with a fresh cup of coffee in hand, I started to pull all the items that I thought I would use for this card. The background paper is from High Tide DSP and the second layer of paper is from the paper stack, Fresh Prints. Cardstock is Pacific Point which I layered the bottom portion with another piece of Fresh Prints. Accessories include Pacific Point Grosgrain, Pistachio Pudding Ruffle Stretch Trim, Pool Party Twine (from the Sale-A-Bration catalog), and a couple of buttons. Oh and a little piece of doily! So I look at it this morning and think there is probably a lot going on for this card and if you think so then I’m blaming it on the late night caffeine jolt!! I will say that the best part about this card is the fun I had with Kimberly and Cathy as we texted each other the whole time. It also gets you motivated to try different ideas and in my next blog I will share with you my second creation of the night. I like it so much better! We are our own worse critics aren’t we? I will say that I am paying for my late night escapades this morning and am on my 2nd cup of mojo as I write this. I actually would love to get back upstairs and play some more but first I guess I have to clean house! I hope you are stamping something fun today!
